The Digicon 3000 is a versatile 30″ | 762mm digital print finishing solution for labels and flexible packaging, designed to complement the HP Indigo 25000 Digital Press. It caters to the demand for shorter runs, faster turnarounds, and diverse SKU labeling and packaging.
Unlike typical packaging digital print finishing equipment, it offers multifunctionality, allowing various finishing and converting operations. Developed through a partnership between AB Graphic International and Edale, it leverages their expertise in digital print finishing, flexographic print, web transportation, and post-print converting.

Finish digitally printed cartons affordably with Edale’s FDC-400 or FDC-600, along with FL3 or FL5 print and embellishment modules. These flatbed die-cutting solutions can work in-line or off-line with your digital printer, allowing cost-effective production of short-run, customizable folding cartons without high tooling costs.
The modular equipment offers flexo print stations for spot colors, varnish, cold foil, cast and cure, lamination, and more.
Edale’s digital carton finishing equipment converts printed carton board from rolls to cut, creased, and stripped blank cartons using the FDC400. It’s versatile, with options for various printing and embellishment features.

The FL Converters are based on either the FL1 PRIME, FL3, FL5 or FL7 platforms and can be configured to provide production solutions for labels, industrial or medical products and speciality products.
The FL Converters are available up to 850mm web width and can comprise of rotary die-cutting, flexographic printing, inkjet, lamination, foiling, sheeting and delivery options.
FL Converters are fully servo-driven, with the latest controls technology and a robust design, which means that you can specify a machine that can perform with precision and reliability for a long time and with the peace of mind that its modular design futureproofs possible upgrades.

Edale offers custom-built digital foil printing machines to your specifications, supporting both cold foiling and hot foiling solutions. These machines cover web widths from 350-510mm | 14” – 20” and can be modularized to meet your current needs and future upgrades.
For a digital foil printing option, consider the Edale EFX Print Bar, a UV-based inkjet system that can be integrated into your existing web press (up to 410mm | 16” web width). The EFX offers digital cold foil, digital white, black, opaque, and tactile varnish embellishment solutions.

Based on the award-winning FL range of narrow web flexo printing press, the digital embellishment (DE) is a highly configurable solution for converting and embellishing labels.
The DE digital embellishment can be equipped with a number of individual digital printbars that can give the option of embellishing with highly opaque Digital White images and panels with the ability to make these images variable in their content.
Also available is a high build digital varnish which gives a raised and high-quality tactile feel to areas of the label. Completing the digital embellishment toolset is the digital cold foiling head which gives a highly crisp cold foiled image that is not achievable through standard label cold foiling.
The Edale FDC-600 flatbed die-cutting machine combines sheetfed flatbed die-cutting technology with a modern servo-driven web transport system. It’s designed for rapid job changes and setup when integrated with flexo or digital systems, creating an efficient, single-pass folding carton production line.
With a max speed of 13,000 impressions per hour, nesting capabilities, and the flexibility to reconfigure for various carton sizes without specialized tooling, downtime and substrate wastage are minimized. The FDC-600 can retrofit existing presses or convert pre-printed webs, accommodating carton board thicknesses up to 700 microns.
It handles cutting, creasing, embossing, and braille, with optional features like de-nesting systems, Jumbo Unwind, side unloading conveyors, and batch stackers.
